First and foremost, the committee would like to express how excited we are at the immediate positive response to MEMS Fest’s move online. This is a difficult time for everyone and we are very grateful for the continued support that we have received from the community. We are currently in the process of negotiating a new schedule and working out how we will shape and host our digital conference. Exciting developments to follow!
As an immediate point of action, we will be extending the current submission deadline for paper and panel proposals from Friday 27 March to Friday 5 April 2020. We understand that the move to a digital platform may affect how and what people are intending to present, and we are very keen to make this transition as easy as possible for all involved. We are still welcoming all new proposals or resubmissions of proposals that have been adjusted to suit the new digital platform. However, if you have already submitted a proposal, there is no need to resubmit!
More soon, and looking forward to working with everyone within this new format,
MEMS Festival 2020 Committee
